Launch Day - alpha version is here! Reset is in place, things you should know!

The big day finally arrive!

We are proud to present the alpha version. When I say "we", you should know that it is only ME, the admin, and my faithful AI. YES, this is vibe_coding@work, it was from day one. In fact, this is an ongoing experiment launched years ago, when vibe coding was just a whisper. Can someone make an modern application from start to finish without writing a single line? The answer is YES, anyone can, but most will stumble upon many problems, technical ones, but that's really another story.

So here we are, celebrating the launching day.

Having such helpful hand it come natural to make a perfect launch. Therefore a few things you should know. This project is entirely FREE of charge, because it was constructed free of charge. This is INTENTED, no credit card account involved, no money, no subscription, 100% solar energy used, waste laptops from 15 years ago repurposed, everything was build on free tier, even the hosting is shared. Speaking of hosting, you probably know that this is the cost one cannot escape. So it is the most stressful matter at hand for me. I could build an entirely different architecture but the server cost oblige me to sacrifice greatness in favor of simplicity, intelligent design and tricky scalability. So the first important thing you should know is that: the server LIVE in a 5minute window, is not real time! Real time servers cost sometimes hundred of thousand of $$$, money I don't have - I'm just a father of two small kids that I rarely see and that should tell you everything about the struggle!

The token distribution

Next chapter of our incursion is probably the part you care most, the distribution of TOKENS! I just minted 20 promotional codes that will be distributed among friends and people who really care about a free and anonymous system. 10 codes will be 1k/1k/1k and serve one purpose: spending feeds treasury reserves, is not very nice to start an economy without money in bank. The other promotional codes will be 100/100/100 and will be distributed free on forum, Discord channel, Whatsapp channel, etc. The logic is simple, nobody should gain advantage at start, but nevertheless this is more a test than a solid thing, it serve one purpose: a working logic for the next reset. I do not intend many resets, but for sure one will be one at version 1.0. So this is the SECOND thing you should know: everything we do here is not written is stone, is merely a test for future developments, so act accordingly.

The MMOPRG situation

Now the gaming part - the items - the part I like more and I have a confession to make, I did cheat! But in my defense, I did it for you! Yes the games is hard without items, you surely can make tokens easy, change visibility but if items never drops, that's it, you fail to enjoy the game. So I somehow have to "mint" some items in the most correct way for everyone. I have two solution, bots playing the game and everything they got sell on auctions, so you can buy, and second - my favorite - me alone on the map fighting WORLD BOSS without the single marker on map. Naturally, I chose the latter, but only for testing purpose, to test the drop chance and of course all items will go on marketplace at reasonable prices, so that you ALL can have multiple chance to get one. However, I cannot control WHAT it drops, so it is what it is, and that is the beauty of it. When more people will come, it will be more hits and more items, only the start is hard.

final thoughts

Everything else work like a charm, of course many things will go wild, many will complain about 5 min lag, bugs, poor balance, etc. Know that I'm here to measure all that so every mistake is a step forward, it is in the design itself, nothing is wasted.
