The App
One map. Four games. Zero signup.
HoldSPOT looks like a map, but it plays like four games at once: a territory war, an economy, a project market and a trust system. Here is what each one feels like.
Markers
Claim the world, one sticky note at a time
A marker is your claim on the map — a sticky note with a category, a message and a Visibility score. Visibility is health: raise it with boosts and support from your own territory. Buy decorations from the shop and your spot shines for the whole world to see.
- 25 marker types Each category has 5 subcategories — from Buy, Sell, Dating and Gatherings to Alerts and Orientation.
- Say it your way Use any emojis and place ASCII art blocks in your message.
- Markers fight back In the battle system you fight other people's markers — and they fight yours.
- Upgrade everything The shop has numerous items, potions and utilities that can upgrade your markers.
- Take CARE of your markers Someone may kill them while you sleep!
Place markers anywhere — your street, your city, a mountain you love.
Higher visibility means bigger territory, stronger tangles and more presence on the map.
Merchant, Explorer, Diplomat, Artisan, Sentinel — 25 marker types across five families.
Battles
Visibility changes hands, live
The battles contest any marker head-on. Win and you strip Visibility from their spot; lose and you feed theirs. At zero, a marker dies and its territory opens again. Quests, bounties and weekly campaigns keep the war moving — and the world boss appears once an hour, unannounced, with improved loot chances for whoever wins against him.
Bounties are a call for action when an archetype becomes more powerful or weaker than it should be. Hunt is when a certain archetype becomes too powerful, protect is for the weakest, and nest is a hunt against a group of same-archetype markers that gained too much Visibility in a small zone.
No hit points, no units — the currency of war is attention itself.
When one archetype rules too hard, the system prices its downfall. Big strikes pay instantly.
A communal piñata with 4,000 Visibility — catch its window, land the win, get the loot.
Escrowed in offers, traded in the marketplace, staked on projects.
Backed by the system reserve — the bank, loans and exchange draw from it.
The activity token — earned by playing, spent on boosts and services.
The economy
Three tokens, one honest ledger
Everything you earn is one of three tokens: Liquidity for trading, Value for worth, Engagement for presence. Every mint, spend, escrow and refund lands on a single public ledger — and the balances of every player are simply the sum of that ledger. No hidden mints, no admin magic, no pay-to-win.
SCALES & trust
Find the right people — then let strangers check the work
SCALES is the marketplace for personal project management (PPM): describe what you need, and workers respond with blind scores and contingency offers that are matched against your declared priorities. Award the best one, and the workers receive your contact details. Simple, effective, and clean. From time to time, our system uses strangers to audit whether declared priorities matched from both sides’ perspectives. If six agree, a STAR is awarded.
Both sides declare priorities; the score is arithmetic, not persuasion.
Random strangers grade awarded projects. Nothing is public until consensus.
The only reputation badge in the game — granted by consensus, never by purchase.
